just learned about Lucinda Foote, a 12 year old girl in 1783 who met the requirements for Yale University but was ultimately rejected because she was female. makes me think about how many talented and skillful people whose potentials were limited simply because they were discriminated against. how would the world be if these people were given opportunities?
