Food forest harvest: garlic scapes


Picked all the garlic scapes in the food forest. Planning to make pesto, and dehydrate a bunch but they keep in the fridge for a long time so we will be using them in our cooking fresh too. First up as a pizza topping for dinner tonight.

Found 15 minutes to pick some strawberries before lunch. It's hard to keep up with them with a short window of good ripeness. I hate to not pick every single good strawberry but I simply can't get pick them all in time. I'll do my best to pick for 15 minutes here and there for the next couple weeks and see how many we can get!
