So, as has been pointed out, these aren't gulls but fulmars. In Icelandic they're called "múkki" or "fýll", which google helpfully claims translates to "muck" and "filly", respectively
(As I've pointed out before, adopting machine translation isn't about replacing translators with automation but providing businesses with cover for abandoning translation altogether.)
