We have gone so easily from *the right to die with dignity* to *the progressive thing to do is to remove yourself from the planet*.
It wouldn't take much more to identify a group of people whose removal would be a public good.
After all, Canadians were told that working-class truckers were such a threat for protesting about the removal of their rights that they needed their bank accounts withdrawn and that anyone supporting them was evil.
And so many people will cheer it on if they're told that not thinking this will make them (insert political -ist/-phobic here).
We are staring at the banality of evil dressed as the moral choice right here.
