Note: yes, White Dwarf used to be a #ttrpg magazine before it was a miniatures catalogue. GW got it's start importing #DnD to the UK, and some iconic elements (like Githyanki, Xvart, and Grells) first were introduced in the pages of White Dwarf's Fiend Factory.
In fact the story goes they only published the original #Warhammer because people had so many DnD minis laying around they didn't know what to do with them...
