This is LONG - going into many things that Jack Welch implemented at GE. Things like
- Stack ranking (promote top & fire bottom)
- Business units had to be 1 or 2 in their area or were sold off
- Increased GE stock price
- Drove up value of GE Capital
The aftermath wasn't pretty. The people that worked for Jack didn't do all that well either.
