Today's the 14 anniversary of when I met got with my ex. I was with him for 12 years. The first 3 of those years he was a different person. The other 9 years I spent chasing who he used to be. The last 7 years I knew we wouldn't last, and that it was only a matter of time before I got the courage to leave him.
I don't know. I'm not as bothered by today as I feel I should. That's not to say I'm over it, I'm definitely still traumatized, but it certainly is weird to notice that I don't feel any particular way.
