well, masto dwarfs Pleroma right now but did you even know that i wasn't on Masto...?
i see things as totally transparent. if meta users are generating more content for him to suck up, so what? they were going to anyhow. and if fedizens are feeding into his suck so what? he could have sucked up comparable data for free anyhow.
by federating he risks opening up a pandora's box that literally triggers a speedy end to meta as an entity. i don't believe he is dumb enough to do that.
