Kyonko802 (nprofile…9j4q) the only time you can really "break" your system with an interrupted updated is if you do it right while mkinitcpio/dracut creates the initramfs ("==> Building image from preset") bc of kernel, init or other driver updates and it will tell you in bright red text there is a problem. the fix is just to chroot into your install like you did on first boot and -Syu
