The best skin (and hair) care 'product' is what your own body produces for itself, which has the rather unfortunate name of sebum (at least in English). A mix of waxes, esthers and oils that your body self-tunes in both quality and quantity (produced) via biofeedback.
The mistake that most ppl make with caring for their skin & hair is that they constantly strip this protective coating off through their use of soaps and detergents on their body. And then seek to replace it with artificial products or even natural replacements (eg tallow).
