Referring to it as a runner's 'high' does little justice—as the feeling can't be matched by any drug. No, I prefer the term 'runner's bliss'—the period of soaring above the clouds, dare I say the stars. It's joined by an abundance of clarity on oneself and their purpose, returning to a child-like state of wonder that people can only dream of attaining.
