"content": "Finally dug up all the old basil plants from the Saffron bed and there are lots and lots of Saffron shoots coming back up again! These will all flower at the end of October into the middle of November. I included one picture of a Saffron flower from last October 27 so you can see what’s coming. The red threads are the spice. My middle daughter and I planted about 150 corms in the bed about four years ago and every year there are more. #Saffron #Gardening #WesternMassachusetts\n\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/rubysocial/media_attachments/files/111/139/179/914/701/981/original/5d78c6afcf270ef5.jpeg\n\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/rubysocial/media_attachments/files/111/139/180/116/881/817/original/ed5c220553c5d803.jpeg\n\nhttps://cdn.masto.host/rubysocial/media_attachments/files/111/139/180/283/857/322/original/abf681f5689d841e.jpeg",
