After just a hair over 2 months on a new #fitness routine and calorie tracking I'm officially over 25lbs down! (26.4 if you want to get specific)
Still a ways to go to my #weightloss goal of 80lbs, but I'm definitely happy with my progress so far!
A few tips that I picked up along the way
* Refeed days are important to prevent plateaus - your long term calorie intake should still be a deficit, but you need at least some days where you eat at maintenance levels as well.
* Treat going to the gym like going to work - we all have days when we wake up and can't stand the thought of going to work, but we go anyways because we have to, the gym should be the same
* When you slip up, just rework it into the plan. Woops, ate too many calories today? Well that's now your refeed day for the week.
* Always push yourself, don't get comfortable in your workout, if you get through your whole workout without seriously thinking about quitting, time to ramp it up!
