Not advocating for anything in partiular, but as I'm not a maxi for any specific Cryptocurrency, I know a little bit about DAOs, so if you're curious, one possible solution to wealth being directly proportionate to power is quadratic voting mechanisms - they exist to distribute voting power more fairly, to make it harder for one party to buy up a bunch of tokens and control everything, though there is definitely issues around sybil attack resistance that there is plenty of research into. Can't say it's suitable for Nostr but thought I'd share anyway.
