Most fully assembled power packs are inadequate for charging from solar, especially if the device that's being charged has its own internal battery and charge controller.
If the draw on the pack is too low for too long (varies by manufacturer), it'll cut off the output and may not wake up again.
Voltaic packs have always-on USB outputs and don't suffer from that issue. While they cost more, it requires no soldering or EE know-how.
The v75 is overkill, IMO.
