This is how much we don't give a crap about privacy. I talked with a lot o people around me and everything is simply sparkling. People will buy in and cdbc will probably happen.
We have this fetish of wanting to be seen. We play npc and throw jars on stairs ffs!
There is no reason for global, social networks. Think about it for a second?
Why?
Ok there are some cases where some want their voice to be heard, but nobody is doing anything about it. Nor traditional network or new ones. It is very dangerous and honestly costly. And great firewall of china will drop you pkg either way if fully encrypted.
This companies exploit the thing humans love the most: Confort.
Look at any nostr clients. They are clunky, doesn't have ux. Why? Because they are built by more or less tech and amateurs on their free time, not by armies of well paied, hand picked devs.
I know people using the same pass to everything and is that shit password from yahoo from 2004.
Same as other networks you cannot actually find the content if you didn't save it and once is gone? Is gone. You might run into it by luck.
In short, we can keep pushing, but time will tell. We din't care about privacy.
