Technically speaking libraries are legal piracy.
Piracy is where you obtain a form of media without paying for it and without the creator losing stock to sell, when you go to a library which is free you can read any book or watch any movie providing they have it, and you don't even need a library card, even if you did those are free. You can borrow from the library and the only time you have to pay money is if you incur late fees (idk if you have to pay to check out DVDs) and idk where the money for late fees go, ergo libraries are legal piracy
