New investors are willing to overpay now, for the future returns, on the basis that future investors will also overpay, because it works. Bizarre in some ways, makes perfect sense in other ways. All the figures are published and audited, it’s unlikely that the people buying MSTR don’t know that the current market cap is roughly 3x the current BTC holdings’ spot price. How does one accurately value a company that can raise capital at 0% to buy BTC? Some might say it’s currently underpriced, even at 3x book value…
