Agreed - it's just in my book the module would have an XT60 or similar input, an MPPT to the voltage for the bike and would live in the bike or as a lump in the cable your bike came with.
That cable would then also let you plug directly into panels (or portable fold outs), even ones stuck on the bike in theory as well as charging points. It would also mean a non battery backed charging point would literally be a panel or two screwed on the roof, and a piece of wire.
