Interesting.
A post on FakeBook, clearly intended to be offensive, appeared unannounced on my timeline this morning, from an account that I don't follow, and have, to the best of my knowledge, no interaction with its followers.
The image included the text "let's see how far around the world this gets before it gets banned".
The account is called Venus Celestial, and the post was of what used to be a Robertsons jam image.
It used to be synonymous with the brand, was banned as a racist trope, and adopted as a sly identifier by racists and white supremacists. I discovered that in 1985, to my shame.
Having reported the post, FakeBook assure me that it doesn't breach community standards.
For fucks sake, Facebook, who the hell administers your community standards? Geert Webers and Marine le Pen ?
