you should always use your own node
2nd rule about Monero nodes:
YOU SHOULD ALWAYS USE YOUR OWN NODE!
If for some reason you still have to use a node which isnt yours... you should at least access it through TOR or i2p. For that i have spun another full Monero onion node which is free for anyone to use :
