Hmm the Trump administration making deals with the military industrial complex to stoke new wars just like the Biden administration did. Who could have predicted this? It's almost like government is the ultimate fraudster and monopolist or something. Oh yeah, it is that, by definition, and this virtually ALWAYS HAPPENS!!

This is not just incompetence. On the part of some in the executive branch, it is intentionally counterproductive and destructive. And on the part of most if not all in the administration, there is a degree of willful ignorance, of looking the other way or refusing to do due diligence on such consequential policy considerations. These arrangements which further worsen the underlying problems serve to provide excuses for more power. The military industrial complex demands a certain amount of constant war, and if they have the privilege of the general recognition of legitimacy in the eyes of a vast supermajority of people as well as the money printer on their side, they will be able to get the wars they want at the expense of so many lives and so much of other people's wealth and livelihoods.
