This in contrast to me 7 years ago:
In a job I hate in a call center. Waiting for the clock to pass, trying to do as little as possible for the pay check, to make it tolerable.
Living for the weekend, binging drugs (pot & alcohol) and considering that socializing. Only feeling comfortable talking about such meaningful things when we’re all in a very altered state.
I was a hedonist, fatalistically nihilistic. I knew fiat was a pyramid scheme. I knew we were slowly being cornered into a digital panopticon and couldn’t see a way out.
So rather than focusing on what I could do about it, I numbed myself, to try fit in with the NPCs.
I found Bitcoin. I slowly but surely started learning more and more, taking more accountability with each step.
The NPC mask started to break and I could feel gods sun and warmth through the cracks.
It may feel like a waste of time helping people find their way, because NPCs put up such a fight, as you are breaking their “comfortable” world view, and they are scared of admitting the deceptive and indoctrinated position most of us are in by default. But do it anyway, answer politely, be patient, and those who actually seek truth, or are willing to learn, teach them. Do Isiah’s job.
I am proof the NPC mask can crack, I’m by no means a cypher punk, but I am teaching myself more about coding, sovereignty and religion (Orthodox Christianity) everyday and am thankful for my journey.
I’m thankful to so many Bitcoiners who helped show me the light, when I was a pre-coiner, temporarily a shitcoiner, when I was a pleb, they were there. Relentlessly “bullying” (teaching factually using a priori) me into the right pathway.
For those of you doing your time in the trenches, enjoy it. You are doing the lords work. God bless you.
