So true. Most want to be led, not find their own way.

Instead of migrating to Nostr—where you’re *not* the product, nor a slave to a closed-source algorithm—people are flooding to yet another Chinese-owned centralized platform.

The reality is that 99% of people do not actually care about censorship resistance and free speech; they just want their dopamine fix.

They do not care about “decentralization” or client optionality. In fact, they hate having options, because it forces them to make decisions, which are scary.

They do not care if they are a a slave to an opaque algorithm that influences them in unknown ways, as long as it continues to feed their dopamine addiction.

They just want to escape the drudgery of their daily life by scrolling ad infinitum.
