Another Lobsters comment I cannot reply to:

Add to this the strong recommendation of the highly objectionable Signal, which used to be (still is?) an alleged cryptocurrency pump-and-dump, and the author’s credibility has now taken a hit in my eyes…

To this date, nobody has developed a Signal alternative that isn't absolutely shit cryptography by comparison.

When someone does, I'll stop recommending Signal.
