npub1c8tes4wk937l3xklrgve0q25pvamkv70u23tx4zu6wtgfwyxdlwqjhcru8 (npub1c8t…cru8) it's always been the range anxiety and time to charge. It nags on our freedom. In the 90s in highschool I worked with an electric car engineer. His 4 seater, with just lead acid batteries could get 300 miles and recharge from 20% to 90% in 3 hours with trickle chargers. He said the biggest hurdle is the charging. He said the best model would use easy to swap out batteries. Pull into a station and a few minutes later your low batteries are removed and fresh ones put in.
