For the most recent controversy surrounding MakerWorld, I really don't see what the problem here is (beyond Prusa being upset that another big player is throwing their hat into the model hosting game, which frankly is much needed).
Most of the things Bambu is accused of as of now is just Prusa's word against Bambu's, and most of the things Prusa is accusing them of fall more within the "in somewhat bad taste" range as opposed to "nefarious" as described by Prusa.
Reverse engineering API calls to understand your competitors? Happens literally all the time.
Messaging users to see invite them to the beta? Again, certainly bad taste, but hardly worth blocking exports over.
Really it feels like Prusa made all their software and hardware FOSS, but are now upset that people are treating it as open and building stuff on top of it.
Frankly we need more competition in the 3d model hosting game, because the only halfway decent option today is printables.
