the MS backend regards every single MS Teams team as a separate Sharepoint site, and if you allow it, you literally do have a Sharepoint spawned for every single Team on top of all the other stuff it uses
kinda like how enterprise OneDrive is literally just a Sharepoint with a glossy coat of paint on it
