"i remember back in the day when i was a little kid and my granny would be watching soap operas like days of our lives or bold and the beautiful, whenever a scene came up where there was a kiss on the lips or a romantic scene, she'd say "sies" ( slang word in south africa for gross/disgusting) and change the channel. after a min or so she would change back to watching her show. Thats the differnece between those days and nowadays. People had respect for themselves and what they watched and wanted to see. Now we just have porn thrown in our faces all over social media, on tv, in music in gaming and all these whack ideaologies."
