As a bonus some things I did over the holidays:
* setup kodi on my old 12th gen intel framework board. working great! I wonder if I should look at jellyfin tho?
* turned off the last rotating media disk in my storage server. All nvme now!
* new nvme drive on my laptop just in time before the old one died.
* really considered a inverter generator to replace my current generator, but haven't done it yet.
