I hate to break it to you, but gay marriage was a tiny, small concession and isn't that big of a deal to most queer people. Laws are not the thing we're most worried about, we're most worried about norms that your pea-sized understanding of what we go through enforce, forcing us into easy-to-label boxes that are packageable for the mainstream.
