I'm not sure if I'm going to express this very well so maybe I shouldn't say it but those of us who are not being persecuted for speaking up about Gaza, either because of not speaking up or not being persecuted, should be extra glad for the bravery of people who are. Because they're eating a TON of shit in order to exercise nominal rights and take a moral stand against a deep injustice

& having those rights, even nominally, is not something to take for granted
