I logged into my old Twitter account today. Although I erased all my content back in 2022, and my timelines appear empty, the counters still show hundreds of posts and likes that are nowhere to be found. Their backend has been broken for years. Not an issue for me anymore, clearly, but still surprising to see so many brands and decent people using it.
