I'd go further. If a residential building is unoccupied and untenanted for more than 3 months, management is passed to a SHP (Social Housing Provider), nominated by a local government body for the area. The SHP can rent it out at their usual rates (eg KO income-related rates). Rental income is passed to the building owner, less a property management commission at standard market rates.
