I'd say you're right, and they are skitzo conspiracy theorists. Outside of a system is unknowable to the inside of a system.
Any anti-entropy in super or quantum computing is simply offset by created heat entropy.
Physics is skitzo anyway - they break their own laws with stupid shit like dark energy.
