It should be a felony for clergy to have sex with the people they’re counseling. Yep, 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘺. They should be in jail. Not just calling it “an affair” and, though admitting it was sinful, claiming it was consensual. It’s spiritual abuse, and those felony convictions should follow you around if you try to switch churches.

Unfortunately it’s an uphill battle to pass this law. Shouldn’t be! But abusers have the upper hand for now. Let’s change that.
