It's very hard to buy muffins that aren't pre-sliced. But most of the slicing machines seem to be crap - they don't slice in the middle, they do like a 25%/75% split.

Which doesn't sound that far off, except one side is now 3x the size of the other. When you put them in the toaster, you get one side slightly warmed but not actually toasted, while the other one is basically a biscuit.

At least if they DIDN'T pre-slice them, I could do it myself.
