It's pretty bittersweet seeing so many wholesome, moving posts about how much libraries have meant (and still mean) to people as a welcoming, inclusive public space when none of my local libraries have done anything (unless they're doing it secretly, which would be odd) to reduce airborne viral transmission risk during a global pandemic.
