Humans suck and do evil things to each other. We’ve pretended and hoped to change that over the years. We’re largely failing and flailing.
Those who celebrate that now feel empowered and enrich themselves while flagrantly flaunting it openly.
Those who abhor abhor it struggle to find a way forward, playing by rules that no longer apply and perhaps never will again.
