When the government says that they’re trying to boost the economy by creating more government jobs, I can’t help but wonder if those government-created jobs are truly beneficial to society.
If those jobs are truly beneficial to society, the values created by those jobs should be higher than their costs.
And if the values created by those jobs are higher than their costs, wouldn’t the private sector have already jumped in?
The fact that the private sector hasn’t already jumped in suggests that these government-created jobs have a net negative impact on our society.
Furthermore, these jobs are funded by our taxes.
So, we’re indirectly spending our money to create jobs that likely do more harm than good to us!
This is sad.
