I get insulted for saying that right now there is no other option to Bitcoin scalability other than having to use escrow services if at all.

Furthermore we are assuming that the entire population adopts Bitcoin for such a case.

This I say is mathematical, not any subjective opinion (pending to see if with ARK we can scale and what the tradeoffs are).
