400 Million Twitter Users’ Data Hacked, For Sale on Dark Web
27.12.22 - Israeli cybersecurity firm Hudson Rock has shared claims by a hacker who says he has stolen user data from 400 million Twitter users, allegedly including Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and is selling it on the dark web.
The hacker then offered Twitter to engage in a discussion over paying for the data stash, claiming it would be their “best option” to avoid paying a CDPR breach fine like the $276 million Facebook was handed last month.
The data allegedly contains emails, phone numbers, and more personal information, including from senior World Health Organization officials. (RT)
