A couple of hours ago I spotted a ladybug larva far from any plants or prey, so I picked it up and carried it to my garden and placed it on one of my onions that had a bunch of aphids.

The larva ran around very confused for a moment before stumbling upon an aphid, at which time it greedily grabbed it and ate it.

I just went out there and looked and almost every aphid is gone from that onion now and the larva is resting.
