We are here, @glasgowschoolofyarn, with our magnificent wall of sock. The gala was a blast and I hope to see even more of you all today. There were some WiFi issues yesterday, but when connectivity is slow I am able to take cash payments even as the card user waits. This also works if they draw a blank on their PIN. I can serve folk with cash while they have a moment to recall it without the pressure of a queue forming behind them.
