the opposition i get from some vegans, to organising meat industry workers, is rather baffling.

if you want to shut an industry down, that's how you do it. not by shaming people for buying its products. it's almost like they're not really as committed to the cause they say they are committed to, and just want to feel good about not eating meat so they can wash their ethical hands and pretend they play no part anymore.
