I find it baffling how so many people heap praise and admiration on an ultra-wealthy individual who not only embodies but actively upholds the old, oppressive ideals of the elite. He reinforces the very mindsets and thought patterns that keep systemic inequality alive, yet he’s celebrated as a visionary or savior. Where exactly is this ship sailing? Because it feels less like progress and more like a gilded cruise on a sinking vessel, with everyone too enamored by the glitter to notice the holes beneath the surface. Are we mistaking a louder captain for a better destination, or have we simply resigned ourselves to the comfort of the same old course, hoping it doesn’t lead to the same old wreck?
