So far, i think i have some wacky inspirations for dragon-related monsters. I know they are pretty common but i stuck with their original legend origins:
-Cockatrice: essentially a dragon chicken. Very vicious thanks to its large spurs
-Corrupent: large lizard with brass humps. Eats raw ore and spits molten metal. Nearly impervious to damage due to metallic scales. Domasticated to obtain highly pure molten ore
-Basilisk: very large lizard with stony skin and flesh. This species was cursed a long time ago and their eyes had petrified. Effectively blind but they use smell and sound to detect prey. Can petrify victims when looked in the eyes.
-Clawed serpent: a cat-dragon. Two front legs, full of hair and deadly claws. Lower part of the body like a snake. Extremely fast and can exhale poisonous gas
-Cucafera: a crocodile-turtle hybrid with a terribly hard shell. Faster than it appears. Has serrated teeth to tear prey to shreds
-Wyvern: smallest of the descendants of the dragons, roughly the size of a horse. Possesses horns and a spiked tail and can spit a hail of needles from its mouth.
