It makes sense, but decentralization isnt a binary thing both bluesky and nostr have different types of centralization. Nostr right now relies on subsidies. Bluesky has grown from smaller than nostr to 100x the size last year. And probably 1000x the size next year. While nostr has gone sideways in the last year. If nostr had a bigger user base e.g. 10x or even 2x, it would be less dependent on subsidies (which also causes competition) and be more sustainable. I hope nostr is open to learning from others who have achieved success.
