Beira on Menaechmi is inspired principally by the city of Naples, Italy. There are bits of other places, like Miami and Beirut, but mostly Naples, a busy port in the shadow of an active volcano, the curve of the sea and the shape of the mountain. Here are some of my pictures of Naples.
