Once I grasped this, my world view changed.
It's my view that my natural way of being is 'Forever Peace', the left-hand photo.
However, our political leaders push the 'Forever War' narrative of the right-hand photo.
They prop this up by pushing fear stories and pointing out how evil and nefarious other political leaders are.
One of the best stories to illustrate how people don't want war, is the one where, during WWI, British and German soldiers from opposing sides laid down their guns and celebrated Christmas together

To honour the British and German soldiers who laid down their guns at Christmas, I propose we lay down the war-mongering views of our political leaders.
Our leaders are here to serve our 'Forever Peace' natural way of being.
We are not here to serve their 'Forever War', immoral way of being.
